Android Retro Photography

I’m sure that all Android fans know that Instagram is – finally! – available for Android. Probably you have already downloaded it and you are taking – and sharing – great photos!

Since I got my Android, I have been waiting for the Android version of Instagram, like many other Android users. In the meantime, I have fallen in love with another photography application, Retro Camera. It doesn’t provide the social aspect of Instagram, however it is a great photography app with six cameras, inspired by Lomo, Holga, Polaroid, Diana, the toy cameras and Hipstamatic.

Inspired by the launch of the Android version of Instagram, I thought to make a tribute to my favourite Android app so far! Here are a few photos I have taken with Retro Camera:

Which is your favourite photography app?

I’ve been using the RetroCamera app for some time on my Samsung Galaxy S Plus and I love it. No nonsense, just point, shoot and hope. I find it compliments my Canon 20D really well and it saves me having to play around with emulations in Lightroom and Photoshop. RetroCamera is a cracking good app.
